With over 25 years of experience, I support companies in complex transformation and restructuring projects, in the realignment of their organization, and in the establishment and expansion of both national and international locations. In roles as a (commercial) managing director, commercial manager, or interim manager, I steer commercial processes with as much precision as strategic course-setting – always with a clear focus on implementation and impact.
My strengths lie in payment control, business strategy development and implementation, financial management of payments as well as change and process management. I bring well-established experience from international M&A processes – including Due Diligence, Integration, Negotiation and Closing – and possess in-depth know-how in dealing with crisis situations, turnaround projects and the successful turnaround of complex changes.
Especially in phases stronger dynamics it is crucial to lead with clarity and confidence. I have been responsible for various business situations – whether in business closures, the restructuring of production processes or the restructuring of global supply chains. From there, I work solution-oriented, with a focus on measurable results and sustainable impact.
Through my long experience in medium-sized family businesses with internationally established group structures, I am familiar with various business cultures. I operate confidently in the international environment and bring both cultural sensitivity and negotiating English skills.

Commercial Director of an investment holding company
Tasks:
- Organizational setup and expansion of a family office
- Introduction, implementation, and analysis of investment controlling and reporting, as well as the economic management of portfolio companies, IT system audits
- Management of due diligence processes regarding planned further acquisitions and/or sales, as well as investments in the real estate sector.
- Financing structuring of current and future investments (on both the asset and liability sides), responsible for all commercial and R&D matters of the group, as well as GPM analysis.
- Personal support for the shareholder during the closing process for various transactions.
- Successful strategy development and "defense" of corporate interests in an international tax audit.

Tasks:
- Consultant for a strategic purchase offer on behalf of the family
- Comprehensive analysis of the European flooring market for a potential acquisition of a textile company.
- Establishment and implementation of claim management for a company in the construction industry.
- Identification and further development of business processes.
- Implementation of processes and execution of a project within the framework of the organizational change process (Change Management) for a company in the waste management industry.
- Active involvement in the structuring of the existing ERP system and in the upcoming SAP migration.
- Responsible for all commercial matters of the group and process analysis and optimization.
- Introduction and implementation of group reporting; optimization of the value chain (including R&D).
- Further development of IT digitization (expansion of the B2B shop, optimization of processes in proALPHA)

Commercial Managing Director (with special responsibilities as CRO)
Tasks (Excerpt):
- Management of the departments for internal and external accounting, controlling, treasury, M&A management including factoring, legal, IT, and procurement, with over 40 direct reports.
- Member of the holding's executive management and member of the core team for the "holistic restructuring of the corporate group," including real estate management.
- March 2012: Preparation and support of the international corporate group for a pre-planned insolvency process involving 13 companies (operational experience in crisis situations, ESUG, insolvency administrator lawyer Hermann from Frankfurt).
- Contact person for mezzanine capital providers (PREPS, equiNotes), Private Equity; capital > €20 million.
