About me
Seizing creative freedom, taking responsibility, making an impact – that’s what drives me.
Interim Manager Dr. Falk Steuer
I am an experienced interim manager with a clear eye for what’s feasible, analytical depth, and a high standard of implementation. My path began in the classic way: with a solid commercial apprenticeship Starting as a tax assistant and then serving in the German Armed Forces. But I never stood still – I went on to pursue an international degree in Business Informatics at EBS (top of my class, scholarship holder), an Executive MBA program at WHU/Kellogg School in Chicago, and a part-time Ph.D. in Management & Economics. I mastered each of these chapters alongside my job – with curiosity, discipline, and a firm determination to be effective.
I am linguistically fluent in German (native speaker) as well as in English – fluent in both written and spoken language, including contractual matters. My IT expertise is grounded in practical experience: I work confidently with ERP systems such as ABAS, proALPHA and SAP, use LucaNet in the BI area, and possess advanced skills in Microsoft Office, and I also engage with AI – the present and future of IT/EDP.

I have held positions of responsibility in national and international industrial companies – as a commercial managing director, as a restructuring expert during a crisis, as a sparring partner in a family office, and as a mover and shaker in medium-sized businesses. I am familiar with M&A processes as well as plant closures, have implemented change projects in practice, accompanied companies through planned insolvency with organ position (civil and commercial liability), established locations, and was responsible for relocating production across national borders.
What sets me apart is not just the depth of my experience – it’s the way I work: structured, forward-thinking, and at eye level. I combine strategic perspective with pragmatic execution, without losing sight of the human aspect. Trust, responsibility, and reliability are not empty words to me – they shape my actions as a hands-on leader in the SME sector, as well as in my roles as a supervisory board and advisory board member.
I am a dedicated team player, actively involved in volunteer work – with the Rotary Club, in sports clubs, and within the church. I firmly believe that true leadership only becomes possible when you're willing to listen, to learn, and to grow together.
If you are looking for an interim manager who thinks along, helps shape things and supports your project – then I look forward to speaking with you.
